Services for Special Educational Needs
All our child psychologists are certified clinical psychologists trained at the doctoral level and focus on working with children. We help them understand and address their unique needs. To become skilled and certified psychologists, we have met the relevant criteria set by the UK’s HCPC (Health & Care Professional Council).
Since we launched our services for children over ten years ago, we have worked with families whose children have behavioural, emotional, and learning difficulties. We have also worked in clinical settings and psychological research centres to support children and young people with various mental health challenges. Contact us if you need support with your child’s social, emotional, and psychological needs.

Some children may experience different psychological needs. For instance, they may be anxious about school activities, feel depressed, or have feeding or toileting challenges. Others may have phobias or may have suffered bullying at school. No matter the nature of the psychological difficulty your child may be facing, don’t hesitate to contact us.
We offer professional assessments and interventions for common psychological issues that affect children. Our child psychologists provide a range of evidence-based treatments for such psychological issues. Some of these treatments include Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Positive Parenting strategies. Remember, the specific treatment for your child will largely depend on your child’s needs.
Some children have developmental conditions such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and more. Our child psychologists provide post-diagnosis support for children with these developmental conditions. We also work with their families to provide professional insights on how to care for such children.
Professional support and treatment for children with such developmental conditions may include behavioural interventions for specific for the specific difficulties your child may be experiencing. Remember, we’re trained to work with children and their families to understand and help them cope with their child’s developmental difficulties.
We perform thorough assessments related to the cognitive and learning abilities of children. Such assessments allow us to provide evidence-based information related to a student’s learning abilities. If you have noticed that your child or student may be experiencing learning difficulties, contact us, and we’ll be ready to help.
Our learning and cognitive assessments aim to identify the specific difficulties a child may be experiencing at school. After understanding such needs, we’ll create a comprehensive report or student profile and determine the specific academic and non-academic support that the child needs to improve their learning abilities and achieve academic success.
Remember, our child psychologists have been trained to carefully and safely assess children without traumatising them. During these assessments, we pay attention to the issues that may have contributed to the psychological problems, developmental conditions, or learning difficulties.
In addition, we pay attention to what motivates the children and various elements that may best provide the support they need. This level of customised emotional, behavioural, and psychological assessment and treatment ensures a long-term recovery and wellness for children and young people.
